Two sightings in 24 hours - first on Broadway in the West 60s with shit wheels:
And the second this morning when we went to look at an apartment on W. 69th Street:

What makes it so bad? You ever drive a 1983 Chevette? It’s worse than that?

Those are the worst stock wheels ever put on a car.

Because Clarkson and May said so.

Meanwhile the stereo in those things is amazingly crisp for a factory unit.

I would not go that far, but I’d say I’d rather have seen the thing with restrained 5 spoker wheels.

Watching May and Clarkson shit on that car, I was of the opinion that there were worse cars that they cast their gaze upon, but I could not argue with the result. The company that gave us the LFA should have done better.

Driven a ‘79 Chevette - worse, but for what you spent for that 430 whatevs, you should have gotten a car that was more sorted.

I would not kneel before the Queen, but I think they have a decent nose for something that should have delivered a lot more for the price.

Yeah, the factory audio unit was cool. But that didn’t excuse it from being a terrible car. It having it innovative roof mechanism didn’t excuse it either. :P

Mark Levinson. With the smallish cabin, it was surprising the first time I was behind the wheel of one.

Never driven one and, strangely, no desire to ....
